Can newspapers collaborate on preprints? ‘Our future may depend on it’

       ST. PETERBURG, Fla. — Newspapers should be able to collaborate nationally in at least four areas despite a “terrible” track record, according to Doug Franklin of Cox Media Group, and they face an almost certain loss of their business involving preprinted inserts if they don’t.
