Aussies block Carsales-Trading Post deal

This is no surprise: The deal between Carsales.com.au and Telstra for Carsales to take over Trading Post has been blocked.

The Australian Competition and Consumer today ruled against Telstra’s agreement to license its TradingPost.com.au business to Carsales, calling the deal anti-competitive. But the ACCC made it clear that its objection had little to do with the combination of the Trading Post
