Amazon suffers 2014 net loss

Amazon suffered a 2014 net loss of $241 million compared with net income of $274 million in 2013, though worldwide 2014 revenue increased 15 percent YOY to $29.33 billion.

The recent increase of Amazon Prime membership seems to have paid off for the online marketplace giant, as has the introduction of the Fulfillment by Amazon paid seller service.
