Marktplaats.nl scammer gets 32-month prison sentence

A Dutch court sentenced a man to 32 months in prison, including 12 months on probation, for fraud and money laundering on the country’s dominant classified site Marktplaats, owned by EBay.Remy D. and four companions scammed hundreds of people by making them pay for goods on Marktplaats that were never delivered. According to the NL Times newspaper, the five were accused of taking money for sma
