MercadoLibre Q1 profit plummets

MercadoLibre (Meli:Nasdaq), a Latin American ecommerce technology platform, posted a net income of $1.7 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2015, a 94.3 percent decrease year-on-year in U.S. currency. When compared to the Q4 2014 profit, the company’s current quarterly result  is 95 percent worse.
