Arnaud Devigne, ex-head of Kaymu, an online marketplace for new and used goods (including real estate) active in 30 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe, joined jobs search engine Indeed France as managing director this spring. More about Kaymu here.
Devigne (LinkedIn profile here) is currently based in both Paris and Dublin. Prior to joining Indeed, he spent two years managing classifieds at Africa Internet Group.
Earlier he headed marketing operations at French professional network Viadeo, Google France and Google Southern Europe, and also Pages Jaunes, France’s Yellow Pages.
Devigne holds a masters degree in Telecommunications and internet management from Université Paris Dauphine and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.
ExclusiveRH reported the appointment of Indeed signalled it has far-reaching plans for the French market. The team of Indeed France will double in size by the end of the year. Its particular target are French recruiters, and to improve its ranking, Indeed plans to open an office in France.
Currently, the French operations are managed out of Indeed’s European headquarters in Dublin.
