MyJobo.com launches paid services in Malawi

MyJobo.com, Malawi’s largest, free jobs site, launched its first two premium recruitment services called ValidiHire and ValidiChecks, to help employers fast-track their recruitment processes and reduce overall recruitment time and costs.
Employers must contact the site (at [email protected]) for quotes to use one, or both of the premium services. Fees are not published on the site. Employers continue to list their jobs on the site free. The site is also free to job seekers.
+ MyJobo advertises your vacancies for you;
+ And receives all applications on your behalf;
+ Screens all CVs and ranks them;
+ Shortlists applicants, or simply compiles a list of all applicants, depending on your needs;
+ Attaches a detailed report for the best candidates/shortlisted candidates with recruiter notes, recommendations and CVs.
+ If required, MyJobo does screening interviews and schedule follow-up interviews for you.
+ MyJobo does various pre-employment checks on candidates you have decided to recruit. It is a “fast, professional and reliable pre-employment checking service for employees”, says MyJobo.
Launched in 2014 to provide free job advertising and job search, MyJobo is one of the fastest growing Malawian sites. It boasts more than 30,000 registered job seekers, 225 registered employers and more than 150,000 monthly visits to the website (source: MyJobo).
The new ValidiHire service enables recruiters to access MyJobo’s online CV database, and recruiters can also assign the website to receive job applications, screen applicants, rank candidates, and shortlist the candidates on their behalf.
Recruiters can also ask the site to do pre-employment checks for candidates, such as reference checks, education verification checks, professional verification checks, and employment history verification checks.
“We launched the premium services ahead of plan, because of the huge number of requests we have received from employers,” said Geoffrey Banda, co-founder and director of MyJobo. He said MyJobo listened to the employers who have indicated that they are looking for innovative recruitment products that are fast, reliable, professional and are able to reduce their workload.
“We will continue to simplify recruitment processes. Our team and associates are buzzing to provide quality services and make recruitment simple and seamless,” said Banda.
The launch of the premium services happened as MyJobo.com was celebrating its two-year anniversary.
The two services were provided to some employers on a trial basis in the past six months.
The premium services are already available.
