There’s been another C-level change at Monster Worldwide, following the Oct. 31 acquisition by international staffing company Randstad Holding nv (AMS: RAND).

Chief legal officer Michael C. Miller announced last week that he would leave Monster after nine years, and take “some long overdue time with my family.”

Mark Stoever took over as CEO at the beginning of December from Tim Yates.

At Monster, Miller said, “changing lives for the better is our noble purpose. … It wasn’t always easy, but whatever challenges we may have faced at Monster paled in comparison to the enormity of the task at hand: to help people improve their lives through their work.”

Miller said the acquisition, which was contested by a large Monster Worldwide shareholder, “was the right transaction for Monster’s stakeholders,” and “it was an honor … to have been one of the leaders of the acquisition team.”

“I am more confident than ever that Monster is poised to thrive,” Miller wrote in his post, which we first read on LinkedIn.
