Alibaba nets at least $1 billion US in Momo sell-off

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba (NYSE: BABA), the parent company of Taobao and its used-goods sister app Xianbei, netted $1 billion U.S. by selling off its position in Momo Inc.. Nasdaq-listed Momo is a Beijing-based, location-based live streaming and instant messaging app.
