Auction site Huuto offers instant credit to buyers
09 May 2017
In Finland, Sanoma’s auction site Huuto.net launched a credit service for buyers in cooperation with the online loans company Credit24 Finland.
The service, called Huuto Luotto, is offered as an online credit application integrated into (as part of) the purchasing process on Huuto.net. You apply for a short- or medium-term loan by completing a simple, online application form, which is processed by Credit24 within 15 minutes. Successful applicants receive the money right away – paid into their Huuto user accounts.
Credit24 belongs to IPF Digital, a subsidiary of IPF Group (stands for International Personal Finance Group), a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
IPF Digital operates in 14 countries, providing short- and medium-term loans 100-percent online to customers in Australia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Spain.
Oikotie is Finland’s leading horizontal platform for apartments, vehicles, and jobs. In April this year, the site received 2.4 million visits, while Huuto.net counted 1.8 million visits (to the desktop site and mobile site), as measured by SimilarWeb.com.
