Ekspress Grupp, realtors to launch real estate site
08 Sep 2017
In Estonia, the media company Ekspress Grupp – together with several large real estate brokers – will roll out a new real estate site to compete with KV.ee, Estonia’s largest real estate site. The latter is owned by Eesti Media.
The site will be operated by a new company called Kinnisvarakeskkond OÜ. Forty-nine percent of the shares of the new company belongs to Express Grupp and the majority of the shares by a large number of real estate companies. Their stake is held in a company called Sadaiksteist OÜ.
Kalev Roosiväli (LinkedIn profile), CEO of the real estate association of Estonia, and owner of his own estate agency Pindi Kinnisvara, is a board member of Sadaiksteist OÜ.
The goal of the new site is to stimulate competition in the Estonian real estate market, said Tarmo Sild Äripäevale, chairman of the board of the new site, in a report on Ohtuleht.ee (here). He also heads the real estate agency Arco Vara.
According to the report, Kirill Tripolski (LinkedIn profile) is a director at Kinnisvarakeskkond OÜ. Earlier, he was management board member at Sanoma Baltics and was partly responsible for managing auto site Auto24 and stuff site Kuldnebors.ee.
Earlier this week, Eesti Media announced that it had acquired real estate site City24.ee from 24 M2 OÜ for an undisclosed amount. City24 will continue in Estonia as a separate site, and Eesti Meedia is not planning to merge it with KV.ee.
Our more detailed report on that is here.
