BdJobs (BdJobs.com), the biggest jobs site in Bangladesh, has introduced an online employability assessment service, to help job-seekers improve their credentials.
The Aspiring Minds’ Computer Adaptive Assessment Test (Amcat) is a multi-dimensional test, certifying candidates’ aptitude in English language, quantitative ability and logical ability in different sectors.
BdJobs didn’t mention how many companies in Bangladesh recognize its Amcat certification, but more than 100 Fortune 500 companies recognize the world’s leader in job skills credentialing Aspiring Minds — which designed Amcat.
The jobs site is offering a handsome discount to encourage candidates to book general, engineering and management tests before Mar. 31. According to the site, job-seekers can pay only 450 Bangladeshi Taka ($5.4 U.S.) instead of TK 850 ($10.2 U.S.) until then.
BdJobs Limited, in which Seek Limited (ASX: SEK) holds 25 percent stake, has been operating for the past 18 years. Currently, the jobs site has more than 2,700 live job listings from 1,511 companies. The site gets major competition from general classified Bikroy.com that has a thriving recruitment vertical with over 2,300 ads.
