The French second-home and vacation property site for international buyers has raised €1 million ($1.2 million U.S.) to continue expanding abroad; with the goal of being present in 60 countries.

Green-Acres is already present in 12 countries, primarily in South Europe. The site also plans to expand marketing and sales staff, and triple its workforce. In fact, the site is currently hiring for the role of international business development manager, as reported by Immomatin.

Green-Acres has 9,000 professional clients. Founded by Benoit Galy (LinkedIn profile) in 2004, the site has been actively involved in building global relationships with property sites for shared listings. The AIM Group reported on the company’s partnership with and versions of its site in different languages, in December. has 210,000 listings available in 20 languages. It added property promotion videos in 2014.

The site caters to people wishing to buy a second home in France and several other countries in Southern Europe, as well as French-speaking people wishing to buy property abroad. It had 1.3 million total visits in January, according to SimilarWeb.
