British recruitment site announced that it’s acquired top education-sector recruitment board

CV-Library currently has around 700,000 education candidates on its site, who make an average of 78,000 applications every month.

OnRec News reported that is the leader in its field, and ranks in the top five on Google for “education jobs”. Its acquisition will help ensure a high flow of applications to CV-Library clients for vacancies in the field. The site will be rolled out onto CV-Library’s white label platform in order to improve users’ experience.

In a statement, CV-Library founder and CEO Lee Biggins (LinkedIn profile) said: “The fact that we’re now adding such a prestigious site into our fold is fantastic and means we are able to attract the very best education candidates to our clients’ vacancies.” He noted that like many sectors in the U.K. “it continues to battle ongoing skills shortages and this means there is more pressure to hire the best employees, fast”.

The Education-Jobs frequently asks questions page advises users that it is now powered by CV-Library and that the partnership means “education recruiters can find your CV and profile, and consider you for their roles… education jobs posted on CV-Library are instantly placed on Education Jobs, so there’s no chance of you missing out on any relevant roles.”

No financial details of the acquisition were released at this time.
