British recruitment vertical CV-Library.co.uk has relaunched niche board JobsRetail.co.uk. This is its second relaunch of an industry-specific site in recent weeks, following the return of EngineeringJobs.co.uk in March.
JobsRetail recruits for jobs in the retail industry. It currently has around 3,300 listings and works with major U.K. companies including grocery chain Co-Op, retail group John Lewis and the H. Samuel chain of jewelry stores.
According to an OnRec news report, CV-Library has more than 1.7 million registered retail candidates who make an average of 71,500 applications every month. Relevant jobs will now be cross-posted onto JobsRetail in order to drive more traffic to clients’ postings.
By comparison, EngineeringJobs.co.uk which was unveiled last month has around 25,000 job postings. CV-Library has about 614,000 engineering candidates registered on the site, who make an average of 217,600 applications every month.
Founder and managing director Lee Biggins (LinkedIn profile) said: “We’re continuing to roll our sites out onto our multi-site white-label platform, improving overall user experience as we go.”
This suggests there may be more industry-specific sites in CV-Library’s future.
