Car dealers in Britain will get easy access to Facebook Marketplace, provided they advertise on The auto vertical announced it will now post dealer listings to FB Marketplace, making it the first site in the U.K. to do so.

More than 5,500 auto retailers use Now, they’ll benefit from their stock appearing in Facebook Marketplace’s location-based search results alongside private seller posts. They will be matched with relevant keywords like specific makes and models. According to a company press statement, the service will be activated for dealers over the coming months. already operates a network of websites including, Honest John,,, and Desperate Seller. It claims to reach more than 5 million car buyers each month.

It’s impossible to guess an exact figure, but this new partnership should provide a healthy boost to Motors’ audience figures, though arguably, consumers who seek out specialist car websites are more valuable than those simply browsing Facebook.
