In Romania, the recruitment vertical EJobs.ro generated revenue of €8.1 million ($9.5 million U.S.) in FY2017 — which was a 38 percent higher than in FY2016, according to a Romania-Insider.com report.
The platform reached a market share of 51 percent, according to its own estimates. It ascribed the revenue increase to larger revenues from recruiting and employer branding services.
The company expects a 35 percent increase in revenue, to €11 million ($12.9 U.S.), in 2018.
EJobs currently has 3.8 million resumes from candidates; 200,000 registered companies; and over 38,000 jobs listings. Owned by Ringier, it’s the largest job site in Romania. Its main competitors are Neogen Group‘s BestJobs.eu, SC Catalyst Solutions’ Hipo.ro and Naspers’ OLX.ro. The latter relaunched its jobs vertical with a fresh structure, new search engine, and a page with special offers for employers, in April 2017 (we reported on it here).
Ringier also operates the real estate vertical Imobiliare.ro in Romania.
EJobs.ro received 2.6 million visits to its desktop and mobile sites in April, according to SimilarWeb. BestJobs.eu counted 1.6 million visits and Hipo.ro counted 697,390 visits. OLX.ro received 29.8 million visits across all its categories during the same period. SimilarWeb does not break these numbers down into individual categories.
