Japanese property vertical Lifull Home’s (at Homes.co.jp) has introduced a unique app feature that lets users search vacant properties by just holding augmented reality-compatible smartphone cameras over a building.
The feature is an extended model of its property search maps based on prices and hazards (we reported on them here and here). Since they were confined to online listings, individuals didn’t have the flexibility to scout for rentals or for-sale properties they hit on while walking past a building or location. Hands-on viewing sheds this shortcoming. The app feature has been launched for Apple devices and an Android version will be available in mid of June, according to a news statement.
Users can currently retrieve information about approximately one million rental and for sale condominiums through the service; which is likely to keep Lifull Home’s ahead of the curve amid toughening competition posed by Suumo.jp, Athome.co.jp, and others.
