British hybrid real estate agency has hired Russell Humphrey as its managing director. The appointment is part of a leadership shuffle that has seen management changes at Yopa and Tepilo, too. Image result for easyproperty logo

Humphrey (LinkedIn profile) has extensive industry experience. He moved to EasyProperty from rival digital site, where he was the national agency director. Estate Agent Today reported that Humphrey replaces the head of operations Adam Day (LinkedIn profile), who left EasyProperty to join the newly merged EMoovTepilo outfit.

Jon Cooke (LinkedIn profile), CEO EasyProperty’s parent company eProp Services said Humphrey, “brings a depth of experience in both traditional and online estate agency…. Our investment in Russell underscores our commitment to this sector and, importantly, our continued support in helping independent estate agents win a wider market share.”

The new managing director will have his work cut out positioning EasyProperty as a contender in the increasingly crowded online/hybrid real estate agency space. While market leader receives its share of criticism, it is also extremely successful, while EMoov and Tepilo’s merger means they now rival Purplebricks in size.

Tepilo founder Sarah Beeny said it was “more than likely” that she would return as a director, a role she had stepped down from in late 2017, according to  Estate Agent Today.
