Incruit.com, a leading jobs site in South Korea, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with state-owned Statistics Korea to jointly conduct research to build and analyze the jobs database in the country. 

In a news statement, Incruit said it will develop a jobs statistical map to provide general data on the job market as well as information about the recruitment environment and facilities. The MoU is aimed at ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the jobs database.

Under the agreement, the statistical institute — run under the ministry of strategy and finance — will harness Incruit’s decades of experience to facilitate employment policy making,

Seoul-based Incruit Corp. launched the country’s first employment portal Incruit.com in 1998. The site has 8.5 million individual members and one million corporate members. It offers pay-per-view ads for recruitment and various other advertising products for mobile and desktop. Incruit also operates part-time recruitment site Albacall.Incruit.com.

SimilarWeb.com measured 1.2 million desktop and mobile visitors to Incruit.com in May. Rival Kr.Indeed.com saw 920,000 visitors while CareerJet.co.kr saw 60,000.
