Cox Automotive has named 30-year fintech veteran Marianne Johnson as its chief product officer, the company announced Monday.

Johnson (LinkedIn profile) will report directly to executive vice president and COO Mark O’Neil and is charged with helping the executive team with innovation.

She joins the company from First Data where she was head of product innovation and technology and senior vice president of enterprise commercialization for the network and security solutions company. Before that, she led global product innovation as an executive vice president for Elavon, a U.S. banking company. She’s also served as a senior vice president of U.S. growth and operations at Equifax.

Johnson has been named one of the top Women Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal and Woman of the Year by The Technology Association of Georgia, according to Cox Automotive.

A division of Cox Enterprises Inc., the Atlanta-based company counts the popular Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book among its brands. It boasts serving more than 40,000 clients with a reach that exceeds 100 countries.
