Japanese jobs placement site Wantedly has officially launched its simple notification service (SNS) in Hong Kong after successfully completing a test run in the peninsula.
More than 400 companies have been registered with the social recruitment site since its soft-launch in Hong Kong a couple of months back. The formal rollout means the site is available in English as well as Cantonese, according to a news statement.
This was the company’s third launch in Asia after Japan and Singapore — where registered employers exceeded 1,000. Wantedly plans to proceed with commercialization in Germany soon too. It plans to conduct on-site surveys in other European and Asian countries to accelerate overseas expansion.
Wantedly Inc. has been running its SNS in Japan since 2012. Recruit Holdings, DIP Corp., and En-Japan Inc. operate a number of jobs-matching sites in the country, but Wantedly is unique for being a social recruitment platform. It has more than 25,000 registered companies. The SNS has more than two million monthly users.
