CloudCasting.jp, a Japanese job-matching site focused on the entertainment industry, is using artificial intelligence to help entertainers calculate their worth.

Launched last month, CloudCasting’s AI system calculates a candidate’s reference level of remuneration based on their profile information, the average market price, and performances. More than 13,000 models, influencers, moderators, writers, editors, athletes, race queens, and other artists are registered with the site.

Operated by Tokyo-based Internet media business Bijin & Co., CloudCasting lets clients search for talents, make direct castings, exchange messages and data with cast members and reduce payment processing. Bijin & Co. also operates a matching service connecting female muses with advertisers at Muse-Party.com.

Affiliencer LLC introduced an app to connect companies with opinion leaders, models, and other brand influencers in Japan and Vietnam last month (we reported on it here). Job.Cosp.jp was also launched in July as a one-stop talent hub for companies who need cosplay models, companions, photographers, creative staffs, concept developers, designers and studio hands.

Industry-specific job sites are popular in Japan. Webist is for the publishing industry. T-Cheer.jp connects teachers with schools. Relax-Job is a job-matching site focused on the beauty and healthcare industry and TechPlay Career serves the tech industry.
