ReJob Inc. has appointed famous Japanese singer Ami Nakashima, better known as Dream Ami, as a “cheer ambassador” to encourage job hunting and career changes in the beauty and healthcare industry.

Founded in Nov. 2009, the Tokyo-headquartered company operates a job-matching site focused on the beauty and healthcare industry at Relax-Job. It also runs a nursing care job site at Relax-Job.com/Kaigo and a simple notification service app to connect customers and hairdressers in Japan at BeauStyle.

In a news statement, Nakashima said she would help people find jobs using ReJob’s recruitment media.

Relax-Job posts vacancies for hairdressers, aestheticians, therapist, masseurs, bodybuilders, and reflexologists. It currently lists 32,000 jobs. Around 300,000 job-seekers are registered with the site.

The site faces competition from female-oriented jobs sites like WomanMart.jp and Women.En-Japan.com.
