Google for Jobs is doing things differently for its launch in Japan. Instead of partnering with recruitment verticals, as it’s done in other countries, it’s collaborating with Japan’s No.1 applicant tracking system vendor HR Solutions.
Tokyo-based HR Solutions operates a cloud-type recruitment management system for part-time hiring called Recop.jp, an employment support system Haisol, and a mid-career recruitment support and management system called RecLog. It also operates a part-time jobs site at GokinJob.net.
Google for Jobs aggregates employment opportunities published in Recop.jp and Haisol — which are used by more than 2,000 companies and recruiters — according to a news statement.
Google launched its artificial intelligence-powered job-matching service in May last year. It’s since expanded to Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, South and North America, and the Middle East.
When it launched in the U.S., Google for Jobs raised ZipRecruiter‘s conversion rates by 4.5 times.
