BeauStyle achieves Instagram success

BeauStyle, a c-to-c app connecting customers with hairdressers in Japan, has amassed more than 100,000 followers on  Instagram.

BeauStyle allows customers to connect with and book appointments with freelance hairdressers. The app has more than 10,000 registered hairstylists — one even has 15,000 Instagram followers, according to a news statement.

The app is owned and operated by Tokyo-based ReJob Inc. that has been providing recruitment services to the personal care industry since Nov. 2009. The company’s other businesses include a beauty and healthcare jobs-matching site Relax-Job and nursing care jobs vertical

BeauStyle faces direct competition from two job sites that focus on the fashion industry: Leverages Inc.‘s and Persol Career Inc.‘s Leverages is enhancing its focus on the nursing care industry and has set up a new company called Leverages Medical Care Inc. to operate nursing recruitment sites.
