ForkWell.com, a staffing media company for IT engineers in Japan, has tied up with the Dive into Code Inc. school to produce more capable coders for its recruiter clients.

Recruitment firm Grooves.com launched ForkWell in 2012. The dedicated simple notification service allows engineers to visualize their skills and technical strengths. More than 20,000 engineers have already registered their portfolios with the site.

Founded in 2004, Tokyo-headquartered Grooves owns and manages a career-change site for engineers at ForkWellScout, a job-matching platform for the web industry at Jobs.ForkWell.com, an HR tech site for skilled labor at CrowdAgent, a part-time job site at SkillShift, and a job agent ForkWellAgent.

Grooves recently embarked on a journey to source candidates from East Asia for Japanese companies. The company has raised 450 million yen ($4.2 million U.S.) from various venture capital funds.

Other recruitment companies that help people upgrade their skills for career-change include Adecco.co.jp, Interworks Inc., Human Resocia Inc., and Work Port Inc.
