Property aggregator MyHome.Nifty.com has hired the services of Japan’s leading map publisher Zenrin Inc. to make rental room searches more informative for users.
It is customary in Japan to post a property listing without disclosing the name of the building or other details. MyHome.Nifty currently lists more than 10 million rental properties, second-hand apartments and detached houses for sale. Its aggregation sources include Suumo.jp, Homes.co.jp and Athome.co.jp.
Zenrin’s mapping technology is intended to make rental room searches more information-rich. Lifull Home’s also uses Zenrin’s system to predetermine the commercialization of blockchain in the real estate sector.
MyHome.Nifty is owned by web media start-up Nifty Lifestyle Inc.. Founded in Feb. last year, the Tokyo-headquartered company also runs a temp jobs aggregator Job.Nifty.com and a part-time jobs aggregator Arbeit.Nifty.com.
Other major room search sites include GakuRoom.jp, UchiComi, EHeya, ShareNext.jp, and Nomad-A.jp. Athome has also rolled out a rental app to help students find rooms.
