London hybrid AgentAndHomes expands

British hybrid real estate agency Agent&Homes is recruiting agents to expand beyond its London base. The start-up is looking to move into Kent, Essex, Surrey, and Sussex, the counties that adjoin the capital.
Agent&Homes was launched by Rollo Miles (LinkedIn profile) and CEO Bob Crowley (LinkedIn profile) in June 2018. According to a LinkedIn post by Miles, the site “aims to fill a gap in the market between costlier high street operations and low fee online agents.”
Agent&Homes offers a portal for entrepreneurial estate professionals. Its agents keep 90 percent of their commission, with ten percent going to the site. They can work from home, or from the company’s Notting Hill hub.
Estate Agent Today reported its team of ten agents has handled more than 40 sales and more than 200 rental instructions.
In addition to property valuation and sales, Agent&Homes provides rental, leasing, management, search and acquisition, and even interior decorating services.
“We’re of the opinion that a high street presence and shop front is no longer needed for a modern agency to be successful,” Crowley said on LinkedIn. “This allows us to invest more money in marketing and supporting our agents with everything they need to hit the ground running.”
