07 Jan 2019

LMC’s jobs app Pracazarogiem.pl has been installed on more than 1 million Android devices in Poland. The company is currently broadcasting this news via an advertising campaign on major Polish TV stations.

The app connects employers and employees based on location. At the moment, it lists mainly blue-collar jobs. Candidates can apply for positions directly on the platform.

Pracazarogiem was launched in Poland in February 2018. The app was first created and marketed in the Czech Republic, where it is known as Pracezarohem.cz.

LMC’s app faces fierce competition in Poland from blue-collar recruitment apps JobSquare and Kiwi Jobs, as well as traditional market leaders like Grupa Pracuj’s Pracuj.pl, Agora’s GoldenLine.pl, and Careesma’s Infopraca.pl.

LMC is a subsidiary of Alma Career, which is owned by Alma Media (its majority stakeholder) and Monster Worldwide (a minority stakeholder, with 15 percent of the shares). Alma Career manages recruitment services operating under the Monster brand in the Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, and Hungary. It also owns other job sites in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Alma Media focuses on digital services and publishing. The company’s headquarters is in Finland, but it also operates in other Nordic countries, the Baltics, and Central Europe. It’s listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange
