Japanese property vertical Lifull Home’s (at Homes.co.jp) has launched a new search engine to help comfort-seekers find properties according to their lifestyles instead of traditional criteria.

Called LifeList, the sub-site contains listings based on various lifestyle choices, like living by the sea. Search criteria traditionally include factors like commuting times and floor plans.

Lifull Home’s is owned by  Lifull Co. Ltd. (TSE: 2120) and carries more than 6 million property ads. Lifull also owns general classifieds aggregator Trovit and digital classifieds group Mitula — which it acquired in December 2018.

The property vertical continuously looks for innovative means to cater to its various target markets. It operates RentalSpace for conference rooms available for rent, a rental warehouse site at TrunkRoom and a database of vacant spaces at Homes.co.jp/AkiyaBank.

The site’s main competitors are Suumo.jpAtHome, Yahoo Real Estate, and Chintai.net.
