Global call tracking company Iovox announced Tuesday that it’s acquired France-based provider WannaSpeak. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Columbia Lake Partners and Octopus Ventures provided growth capital.
The acquisition broadens Iovox’s product portfolio and adds key European brands to its customer base. These include Audi, Total (Direct Energie), Axel Springer, BNP Paribas, Bouygues Telecom, and Orange.
All WannaSpeak employees will join Iovox and continue to support customers while also taking on expanded roles in the combined operation.
Additional features will be offered to customers as the companies move from their standalone products to deeper integration in the coming months. Iovox provides its service to both individuals and corporations through a mobile app that the company has been testing since last year.
The combined company will, on a global basis, be able to handle inbound and outbound call tracking, particularly from mobile phones. It will also be able to handle speech analytics, web call back and the integration of phone data with marketing and CRM platforms.
Iovox serves customers in more than 30 countries and currently has offices in London, Paris, Sydney and San Francisco.
