Japanese recruitment firm InterWorks Inc., which runs multiple job-matching sites, has invested an undisclosed sum in tech job site operator Branding Engineer.

The two companies will now develop recruitment media together. InterWorks will benefit from Branding Engineer’s tech expertise.

Founded in 2013, Tokyo-based Branding Engineer operates a job-matching site for engineers at TechStars.jp and a jobs site for freelancers at Mid-Works.com. It also operates a job-hunting site for graduates at 1Katsu.jp, a career support service for IT talents at Mayonez.jp and a tech job agent service at TechStars.jp/lp/agent.

Established in 1991, Tokyo-headquartered InterWorks Inc. owns and operates a temporary factory work site at 04510.jp. The vertical posts jobs from around 30,000 manufacturing companies and factories across the country. It also runs a regular jobs site for the manufacturing industry at Makers-Pride.jp, a general temp jobs site at Haken.Or.jp, a part-time jobs site at PokeJob.com and a career-change site at Jp.Shigoto-Matome.

There are plenty of tech-related job sites in Japan. The more notable are TechPlay CareerAppStars.ioCrowdTech.jp, HackerAgent, Freelance.LevTech.jp, and TBrain.Adecco.co.jp.
