Randstad loses head of North America

02 Feb 2019

Linda Galipeau, the CEO of North American business at Amsterdam-based recruitment company Randstad NV, will step down in March.

Randstad North America saw a 3 percent revenue increase in Q3 thanks to its successful Canadian operation. Its U.S. revenue remained flat, saddled by declining revenue at job board Monster.com. The company shuffled the management structure at Monster last May, replacing CEO Mark Stoever (LinkedIn profile) with Scott Gutz (LinkedIn profile).

Linda Galipeau

Galipeau (LinkedIn profile) headed Ranstad’s North American operations for more than 10 years. She was the head of Randstad Canada for 10 years before taking on her current position.

Staffing Industry Analysts reports that Galipeau will be replaced by Rebecca Henderson and Karen Fichuk.

Henderson (LinkedIn profile) is currently the head of Randstad SourceLight. The business advises companies on tailor-made talent sourcing solutions. She’s worked at Randstad Talent Solutions since 2008.

Fichuk (LinkedIn profile) has held various roles at performance management and information services company Nielsen since 1993.
