Carfax Canada, Kijiji Autos strike data agreement

Carfax Canada, a leading provider of auto information, will be supplying data for Kijiji Autos‘ new pricing tool. The company already supplies the vertical with vehicle history information. 

The new tool uses an algorithm to help shoppers calculate the average price of a vehicle, based on Carfax valuation data. It was designed in response to calls for improved transparency from the site’s dealers and consumers, director of autos Leanne Kripp (LinkedIn profile) explained in a statement. 

Kijiji is Canada’s No.1 horizontal. It’s part of the EBay Classified Group. The site launched Kijiji Autos as a standalone website and app late last year.
