Japanese real estate vertical Lifull Home’s (at Homes.co.jp) will roll out a new matching service for tenants and contractors or management companies in May.
Tentatively named “Business Support Service”, the site will offer 30 rental property services covering everything from contracts and maintenance to housekeeping and relocation services.
The system is being designed in collaboration with Tokyu Housing Lease Corp. The company has been operating a similar platform called Libre since January. It already has 17,000 registered members.
Founded in 2014, Tokyu Housing also owns and operates the rental start-up Rent.Tokyu. It manages rentals for overseas investors. The company promotes electronic contracts between landlords, tenants and brokerage companies through its Conomy service.
Lifull Home’s is owned and operated by Tokyo-headquartered Lifull Co. Ltd. and is a sister company to aggregator Trovit, and digital classifieds group Mitula.
The vertical’s main competitors in Japan include Suumo.jp, AtHome, Yahoo Real Estate, and Chintai.net.
