Mixi Recruitment Co. Ltd., which runs the tech jobs site FindJob in Japan, has pulled the plug on its 1-year-old matching start-up CosMika. The site was initially launched to match freelancers with assignments and connect entrepreneurs with mentors, capital and co-working spaces.

The service will be completely terminated over the coming weekend. The site’s functions — like logins, business partner offers, and community posts — were already discontinued last month.

Mixi Recruitment didn’t share reasons for the shutdown. The company also runs an IT industry bulletin at FindJob.Ferret-Plus.com.

Business partner-matching site Eiicon.net, a subsidiary of Persol Career Inc., has seen a significant 3,000 times surge in interactions between companies since its launch in Feb. 2017.
