Japanese bilingual crowdsourcing site WorkShift-Sol.com has raised an undisclosed amount through a third-party allotment of shares by Nippon Venture Capital Co.

Tokyo-based Work Shift Solutions Inc. was founded in Sept. 2013. With more than 160 registered skills in more than 200 countries around the world, it can quickly respond to client requests.

The marketplace gives Japanese companies access to non-Japanese freelancers from across the world. Its service has been used by more than 95,000 users worldwide. The site facilitates online matching, work management, and payments.

WorkShift will use the fresh capital to improve its support services for local companies and develop systems to further expand the use of foreign human resources in Japan.

The company’s main rivals in Japan include CrowdWorks.jp, Levtech, and Coconala.
