U.K. auto classified CarWow has made two new senior appointments to support its new partnerships with manufacturers.
Over the last year CarWow has formed partnerships with eight separate manufacturers who will receive data insights from CarWow’s 2.4 million monthly visitors. They will also incorporate finance calculators onto the site so that they can offer potential buyers monthly quotes.
The company has also set up a new partnership with JD Power, who publish a U.K. car customer satisfaction index. The two companies will work together on a series of events in 2019.
Nergiz will be responsible for trying to expand OEM partnerships into Europe, through CarWow’s German business.
CarWow has made a promising start to its reverse-auction business in the U.K. but faces a tough challenge in Europe where it has recently begun operating in Spain, Germany and France.
In a very short space of time since we started engaging with manufacturers, CarWow is already a valuable partner in the industry,” said Nergiz.
“We are providing vital data to manufacturers from a new audience of car buyers. Technology has presented us with opportunities to engage like never before and CarWow’s reputation is very strong.
“With a bigger team, now we can really ramp up our efforts in building closer working relationships with manufacturers in the UK and abroad.”
Davies, who joined 12 months ago after six years at Nissan will concentrate on growing existing OEM partnerships and forming new ones in the U.K.
