Indonesia-based automotive platform MobilKamu has completed an undisclosed Series A funding round led by East Ventures and Genesia Ventures and joined by Denali Venture Partners.

The start-up plans to use the capital to set up new branches and expand its reach beyond Jakarta. It will also further develop its products and technology.

Founded by Wilton Halim, Kalen Iselt and Caue Motta in 2015, the company offers an online marketplace for new vehicles. The site shares fair prices and financing options, eliminating the need for manual price comparisons.

MobilKamu boasted monthly sales of more than 150 cars during 2018. It has partnership agreements with more than 80 dealers across the greater Jakarta area and a wide range of financial partners, including Bussan Auto Finance and BCA Finance.

MobilKamu previously raised $20,000 in a seed round led by the Melbourne Accelerator Program in May 2015. This was followed by another seed round led by East Ventures and Denali Venture Partners in Nov. 2017.
