Autosait.ee — which entered the Estonian market with ambitions to challenge the market leader Auto24.ee in July last year — has counted 68,000 visits and 1,949 car listings within its first six months, Delfi.ee reported.
At the time of writing, Autosait had 1,095 active car listings while Auto24 counted 31,238 listings. According to SimilarWeb, Autosait saw 17,085 visits in March while Auto24 received 2.9 million.
Autosait was founded by local entrepreneurs Andres Seloja, Armand Uibos, Edgar Allik, Rauno Mesipuu, and Timo Mitt.
Auto24 is owned by BaltCap — a private equity investor. It purchased Auto24 together with horizontal Kuldnebors.ee, boat site Veetehnika.ee, trucks and machinery site Rasketehnika.ee and motorcycle vertical Mototehnika.ee from Sanoma Media Finland in March 2017 (our report).
