Japanese recruitment firm Interworks Inc. has launched a jobs search engine for truck, bus and taxi drivers at Works.Driver-Times.com. This follows a good response to its online magazine for drivers Driver-Times.com, launched in June last year. Driver-Times.com has already hit more than 2 million monthly visitors.

Works.Driver-Times.com currently lists more than 36,000 jobs from across the country. The jobs site aims to aggregate driver jobs in the distribution and delivery industry from various other career-change sites.

Established in 1991, Tokyo-headquartered Interworks Inc. owns and operates a temporary factory work site at 04510.jp, a regular jobs site for the manufacturing industry at Makers-Pride.jp, a general temp jobs site at Haken.Or.jp, a part-time jobs site at PokeJob.com, a career-change site at Jp.Shigoto-Matome, a career-change site for executives BizTreat (at InterworksAgent.com), and a talent acquisition intelligence service Jdv.co.jp.

The new jobs-matching site utilizes matching technology provided by tech job sites’ operator Branding Engineer. Interworks invested an undisclosed sum in Branding Engineer in January (we reported on it here).

Industry-specific recruitment sites abound in Japan. Pharma.MyNavi.jp is for pharmacists, MyNavi-Seizo.jp for the manufacturing industry, SportLight for the sports sector, Keiri-Navi.WorkPort.co.jp for accounting and finance offerings, Job.Cosp.jp for cosplayers, T-Cheer.jp for teaching positions, Affiliencer for influencers, ShinTenChi.Work for the funeral industry, and LvnMatch.com/Shokai for the real estate sector.
