BDJobs and the International Organization for Migration announced their collaboration to help Bangladesh’s growing workforce get foreign jobs in November.
The DailyStar reported that the site was launched during a ceremony on Sunday. BDJobs CEO Fahim Mashroor said the vertical will verify all the listings posted by more than 1,000 overseas recruitment agencies. BDesh Jobs is also available as an app.
BDJobs is focusing on the blue-collar segment to mitigate unemployment rates. Other job-matching sites that concentrate on skilled workers include Saltside Technologies AB’s horizontal Bikroy.com, Skills.gov.bd, and Area120’s job app Kormo.
BDJobs has been operating for the past 19 years. Australian jobs major Seek holds a 35 percent stake in the company while Mashroor owns a 33 percent share. The remaining stake is divided between seven investors.
