Alma Media has revamped its real estate vertical, making it easier to use the site on various mobile devices. The company has also added a few machine learning-based features.

According to Alma, around 67 percent of Etuovi users visit the site from a mobile device. The site has thus made its website more mobile-friendly.

The new machine learning-based features include an algorithm for recommending homes to users and an apartment price calculator. Both features have been developed by Alma Media’s Czech subsidiary LMC. is a leading real estate portal in Finland. Its main competitor is — Sanoma‘s horizontal platform for apartments, vehicles, and jobs. Etuovi counted 5.3 million visits in April while Oikotie saw 3.8 million visits across all its categories, according to SimilarWeb.

Alma Media focuses on digital services and publishing. The company is headquartered is in Finland, but it also operates in other Nordic countries, the Baltics and Central Europe. Alma Media is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
