CareerBuilder has appointed Sasha Yablonovsky as president after serving in the position on an interim basis for four months. She joined CareerBuilder last September as executive vice-president for customer experience.
Yablonovsky (LinkedIn profile) is part of the company’s new guard following Apollo Group Management‘s purchase of a majority stake in June 2017. As part of an executive shakeup, Apollo installed one of their investment professionals Irina Novoselsky as CEO. She replaced Matt Ferguson who had led CareerBuilder for 14 years.
Yablonovsky had previously worked with Novoselsky at Novitex Enterprise Solutions, a document outsourcing company that’s part of Apollo’s portfolio. Yablonovsky served as vice president of service delivery, specializing in legal documents at Novitex.
CareerBuilder is headquartered in Chicago and was founded in 1995. In addition to its flagship website, the company operates numerous others in 23 countries outside the United States.
“Sasha is a proven, innovative leader. With her successful track record of building high-performing teams, growing businesses, and a customer-first mindset, she is the ideal person to lead these efforts on a global scale,” Novoselsky said.
