IT recruitment site Open-Career.jp has introduced a new service called Warajin that provides cash rewards to people who introduce candidates with the desire to change jobs.

Open-Career.jp is owned and operated by Tokyo-based I-Mobile Inc. (TSE: 6535). The group has been operating since Aug. 2007.

An introducer can earn Y10,000 ($92 U.S.) each time a job applicant gets an interview call. If a referral is hired, the introducer receives up to 10 percent of the joining annual income.

Though the service is not unique the reward money is. CashU.jp launched in April with a similar jobs referral service. Other SNS-based job referral services in Japan include WantedlyI-MyRefer.jp, Career.Line.me and Digrow.jp.
