Leading Japanese career-change site Rikunabi.com has added interview scheduling and email functions to its applicant tracking system HRTech to help employers improve hiring efficiency. Rikunabi.com is owned by Recruit Holdings.

The new functions eliminate the need for conventional communication between employers and recruitment agencies. Email exchanges, interview updates, and candidate’s acceptance or rejection intimations can all be managed through the cloud recruitment management system. There is no usage fee.

HRTech has been used by 2,500 companies since its launch in Aug. last year. Rikunabi.com expects to hit 10,000 users after introducing the new features.

The site saw 14.1 million visitors in May compared to rivals Doda.jp with 9 million, Tenshoku.MyNavi.jp with 7.8 million, and Employment.En-Japan.com with 4.7 million, according to SimilarWeb.com.

En-Japan Inc. introduced a similar recruitment support and management service called Hire-Hub.io last year to manage job applications coming from different channels like agents, recruitment media and corporate sites.

Those who haven’t introduced in-house applicant tracking systems are using third-party tools. Persol Career Co. Ltd., for example, offer recruitment support and management services RecLog and JobSuite..
