No. 1 Japanese horizontal Yahoo Auctions has introduced a new feature for sellers that lets them change prices of products even after they’ve been listed.

The function is currently available for desktop users. Notifications of price changes are sent to registered buyers. Information like the number of views and questions for sellers will be carried over to the edited listing.

Yahoo Auctions (or Yahuoku, as it is known in Japan) was launched by Yahoo Japan Group (Yahoo.co.jp) — a joint venture between Yahoo in the U.S. and Japanese telecom operator SoftBank — in 1999. There is also an English version of the site.

The general marketplace competes with Jmty.jp and flea market apps Mercari and Rakuma.
