Short-term rental startup OyoLife.co.jp has made a strategic business alliance with veteran Daito Trust Construction (at Kentaku.co.jp) to improve exposure of its listings nationwide.    

Under the partnership, OyoLife will be able to introduce a wide range of properties to customers who wish to have subscription-type rentals from Daito.

Founded in 1974, Tokyo-based Daito owns and operates rental rooms search engine EHeya, rental housing site JSee, rental property brokerage HouseCom, and real estate guarantor-finding site House-Leave.

OyoLife.co.jp is a joint venture between Yahoo Japan and Indian hotel startup Oyo. The mobile-first OyoLife’s listings have exceeded 1,900 rooms since its launch in April this year.  Its competitors include Rakuten Lifull StaySuumo.jpLifull Home’sAtHomeHomeDirectInstaBase.jp, and 4Jigen.Space.
