Leading Japanese crowdsourcing company Crowd Works has joined forces with an international consultancy firm IntLoop Inc. to ramp up on-demand working opportunities for freelance designers and engineers.
Tokyo-based IntLoop Inc. has 10,000 registered consultants and 70 domestic and foreign firms as clients. The company owns and operates project introduction and career-change support services at High-Performer.jp.
Tokyo-based Crowd Works has been serving the gig economy since 2011. It owns and operates a career-support service for freelance engineers and designers at CrowdTech.jp, a freelance matching platform at CrowdWorks.jp, a skills-sharing site at Cyta.jp, and an online billing agency service for freelancers at Feecle.Works. There’s also an on-demand HR service called ExpertCrowd and an information portal for freelancers at Times. The company operates a female-centered jobs-matching start-up BizAsst Inc.
As of Mar., the number of users of the company’s services reached 2.71 million, while the number of clients touched the 355,000 mark.
Under the collaboration, freelancers could apply to IntLoop’s projects through CrowdTech.
